Returns and Refunds

We want everyone to be happy with their purchase from us.
If you change your mind for any reason simply return your product (unused) within 30 days of receipt. We will then refund you fully, although you are responsible for paying the return packaging and postage. If you do return a product please put a note of your name, address and invoice number inside the package and return it to Blackbourne Iron, 6 Seabeach Lane, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN22 7NZ.
If your product arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, please email us at or call us on 01323 430932. Whilst every care is taken in packaging our products, we accept that sometimes something goes wrong. We will always do our utmost to resolve any issues as quickly as possible and hopefully with the least inconvience to you our customer.

Customer Services

Our phone line is open between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. If it does go to answerphone please leave your name and number and we will call you back as soon as possible. We are a small family business that prides itself on providing personal customer service.  


Any accessories that you may wish to order alongside your metal gates and railings will be delivered at the same time as your metal entrance gates and/or metal railings.
For the delivery of smaller wrought iron single gates and metal railings, and the delivery of accessories without the purchase of a metal gate or railing, we use a courier. For larger wrought iron estate gates or wrought iron driveway gates and larger metal railings we have to use a palletised delivery system.

Once we have received your order we will confirm receipt of your order and give you an estimated delivery date. Nearer the time we will contact you to confirm the delivery date. Typically we ask that you allow up to 6 weeks for your metal gates and railings to be manufactured and dispatched, however it is often far quicker. If you need it for a certain date, please call us to discuss this.
